Are we surprised about what happened with the signature plaques?

Well, that signature plaque everyone was raving about has now been removed from most plots. The reason why? People kept begging admins to sign plots that most likely didn’t deserve it, not to even mention those plots farming the signatures with a bunch of admins signing it.

It’s probably infuriating when every time you join a server you have people running up to you and begging for a signature.

Are we surprised this happened though? I saw this coming from a mile away, and when Bonfire was in my server checking out plots a bunch of people who were his sheep kept following the shepard and begging for a signature.

• I’m happy that the signature plaque was erased from most plots.
• I’m neutral on this.
• I’m angry about the signature plaque being removed, I can’t beg for it anymore.

Prop Changes

• Signature Sign
  • No longer available to members of the admin group
    • Developer comment: Signatures created a very toxic environment where entire servers of players would beg any admin that joins for a signature. Oftentimes this meant that admins were signing plots that did not deserve to be signed, or even worse, plots that were trying to “farm” signatures. Because of this, they have been removed, and are only given to winners of official build competitions.
  • Now wiped from all player plot saves
    • Developer comment: Signatures were wiped from existing plot saves so they they remain exclusive to those who earned them via the official building competitions.
• Ceiling Fan
  • No longer collides with items and printers dropped on the ground
• Wheel Rack
  • Prop limit of 10 is now imposed (adv: 20)
• Desk Lamp
  • Prop limit of 10 is now imposed (adv: 20)

All servers were restarted for this update.

The Beach Buggy will go offsale and Bryan’s Hoguera will be unobtainable on September 3rd.

I honestly was expecting bonfire to remove them, mainly due to people harassing staff just to get them

Yeah, people already follow staff members around every time in a game, and the signature plaques made it worse.
