Server Owner cheats during private competition, kicks me out for snitching

I bet this hasn’t happened to you before :rofl:

I was scrolling through the anomic server list when i realized that my friend, mouseEatsBig, was hosting a private competition for a Cute Coupe in his private server. Me being me, I joined the game to a chill round of hide and seek. After a tie ensued, a PvP match (in a plot i built myself), ensued.

But that wasn’t where things started to get suspicious. We were doing Clan Battles in Pahrump at 4-2. Mouse stood in for me for the losing team while i got a drink and opened up a package (at my desk, in vision of my monitor). Since I was sitting out and there had to be a referee, mouse told me he would give me a whitelisted role. Assuming I was still AFK, mouse started the match, to an uneventful start.

In the middle fo the match, however, I was sent a series of notifications on the bottom-left of my screen informing me that “mouseEatsBig healed themselves”. I was still at my computer at the time, and of course this peaked my interest. Assuming it might have been a malicious prank, I kept minding my own business until the message popped up again that mouse had healed himself. Understandably pissed off, when the first teammates started to spectate by spawning back in, i told them what had happened. By the time the round ended, the competition itslef had ended in a stalemate in 5-2. I let everyone know (including mouse) that he had cheated, while mouse repeatedly denied it. A minute later he teleported me to the edge of the map;

“I give you 150k for attending, let you build the pvp plot, and yet you still decide to make this harder for me. You’re annoying, don’t come back.”

I had been in this situation oh so many times in this game - I started laughing while advertising on the in-game phone that mouse had admitted to cheating. I was kicked out of the game for reason “ur annoying, dont come back”.

I still find this hilarious.

Yup, that’s exactly why those notifications exist. Luckily the developers knew that the command would be abused by server owners or whitelisted users, especially during competitions.

I don’t think he could really deny it when everybody was notified. :thinking:
